Melissa H. Harrison Melissa has been a Realtor at Jackson Hole Real Estate Associates/Christie's Great Estates since April of 2010. She has worked in the "land business" for many years and in a variety of ways. As a real estate appraiser in her home state of Virginia, she appraised farms and rural tracts of land including hobby farms, tobacco and tree farms. She also appraised single-family homes in and surrounding the City of Richmond. After relocating to Jackson, Wyoming in 1994 she sold real estate at Jackson Hole Realty (now Jackson Hole Sotheby's) for many years. In 1999, looking for a more predictable schedule in order to accommodate her family, Melissa began working for the Jackson Hole Land Trust where she gained a good understanding of land conservation and its many advantages including tax benefits. Melissa continued working in natural resource conservation as the Executive Director of the Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation for several years until returning to real estate sales. She graduated from St. Catherine's School in Richmond, Virginia; earned an Associates Arts Degree in European Studies from Franklin College in Lugano, Switzerland; and, earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from American University in Washington, DC. She also has completed several real estates classes towards a graduate degree.
